1) Tell us a little something about your business…
Mabel’s Labels started 16 years ago by four moms in their basement. We created a product for families that was missing from the market place, and have gone from basement start-up to international market leader, having won countless entrepreneurial awards and media accolades.

2) When was your lightbulb moment?
We were raising small children and noticed there was a product missing from the
marketplace: durable and personalized labels for all the stuff kids lose. We were tired of using marker and masking tape to label our kids bottles, sippy cups and lunch
boxes. With no suitable product on the market, we created it, providing a solution for families everywhere.

3) Three words of advice…
1) Have an appetite for risk. If you are risk adverse, entrepreneurship might not be a fit for you!
Get comfortable with being uncomfortable. As soon as you feel like you have a handle on your business and what you’re doing, your business will grow and change and you will need to once again adapt.
Your network is your networth. Business is personal. The most important part of your business is the humans, whether it’s customers, employees, suppliers, mentors, etc. Never forget it.
