1) Tell us a little something about your book…
Fit Inside Out aims to help people who feel lost, overwhelmed and confused about their
perceived unfit self by providing simple guidance on how to start and what steps to take when beginning a fitness journey. This could be persons new to fitness or someone who was previously fit and has become unmotivated and wishes to take action in returning to a healthy body and mindset. The book speaks to the reader on a personal level about finding their self-worth and taking action in small steps towards feeling better overall. Through the book, the reader is reminded that fitness is not just about looking good on the outside, it’s about feeling good on the inside. The fitness industry can be quite contradictory, which causes confusion for anyone who wishes to become fit. This book eases the stress and confusion by simplifying the process and provides light during dark times. Depression is common when one is unsatisfied with their physical appearance. Through the book, I remind people to have fun and stay happy and engaged throughout their journey. These are exciting times of positive transformations.
2) When was your lightbulb moment?
When I realized the remarkable impact that positive and encouraging words make on someone’s willingness to act on their personal path to self-improvement, I became inspired to write this beautiful guide to improving the body and mindset through fitness and nutrition. If my words have the potential to shift a person’s mindset from a negative perspective to a positive one, then their journey to reach their ideal state of fitness will be achieved more successfully and happily. I always aim to encourage people to workout from a place of love for the body, not a place of hate. Your body is your life vessel, transformations and habit changes should be challenging but pleasurable. I was so pleased with the completed product and all of the feedback I received from readers that I’ve inspired to get started on their fitness journey as well as those who I’ve inspired to get back on the wagon. My work has just begun and I look forward to announcing my second book called: Life.
